My Monthly Blogs

Last Month Today with Noah Jorgensen!! Welcome to my thirty-fifth blog!! I will share things that have happened in August. If my title of the blog sounds familiar, it is a play on words from HBO’s late night show: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Another Disney connection: He voiced Zazu in Disney’s Live-Action Lion King. I feel this worked well for my last blog and I am doing it again. August started with D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event from August 14th to August 16th. This event happens every 2 years and this year’s event was held at the Anaheim Conference Center in California. This is where Disney celebrates their fans with a showroom floor full of booths representing movies and shows across their many studios. The first night was movies and shows announcements from Disney Entertainment. The second night was parks announcements from Disney Experiences. The third night was the Disney Legends Ceremony which honors those who have shared Disney’s Legacy. Those honored th...

Last Month Today with Noah Jorgensen!! Welcome to my thirty-forth blog!! I will share things that have happened in July. If my title of the blog sound familiar, it is a play on words from HBO’s late night show: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Another Disney connection: He voiced Zazu in Disney’s Live-Action Lion King. July started with America’s 250th Birthday on July 4th. During the first week of the month I was volunteering to setup the Merch Stores for Lifest. Which is an annual Christian Music Festival in Oshkosh, Wisconsin at the Sunnyview Expo Center. The 1st Lifest was in 1999. Their 2018 Festival (20th Event) was my 1st and I have attended everyone since. This year was the 1st time camping by myself. I was able to camp early because I was volunteering from July 5th to July 8th. The Festival was held from July 9th to July 12th. Sunnyview Expo Center received a $5.1 Million contract to update the grounds. The grounds layout was quite different and they are not done....

Happy 73 Years to the Chevrolet Corvette!! Welcome to my thirty-third blog!! Today, 73 Years ago the Chevrolet Corvette left the Flint, Michigan production line for the 1st time. It had fiberglass bodywork and had a Polo White color. All 300 of the 1953 model were made by human hands. No robots yet. The Corvette is considered Chevrolet’s Halo sports car, giving the best while showing the best. Why would I be talking about Corvettes all of a sudden?, you say. Well throughout each month I look for days I would like to write about and with being 33 blogs strong I want to look for more unique themes. Do not worry I will always find a connection to Disney with everything I write about in these blogs.  Case in point. At EPCOT Theme Park in Walt Disney World, they have a ride called Test Track. Where you ride in a vehicle you design artificially. You test out your unique attributes to the vehicle. The attraction has been sponsored by General Motors for 27 years since its begi...

World No Tobacco Day Welcome to my thirty-second blog!! And yes, this time the blog will go in a different direction. Today is World No Tobacco Day and was created by WHO. Who’s WHO? No it's WHO as in World Health Organization. They created the day to share awareness to the harmful effects to the use of tobacco worldwide. From July 2012-June 2017, I was a member of FACT youth group, where we spread the truth about tobacco. At the same time I was also on the FACT Youth Board, helping to come up with new ideas for awareness including a rebrand to help get new members. Like WHO, at FACT we are not against the people who smoke. We are just showing awareness to the harmful effects of tobacco use and other nicotine products including e-cigarettes (vapes). Especially when most if not all advertisement is geared toward youth with colorful packaging and sweet flavors. Including the e-cigarettes being dangerous in other ways including they not regulated like cigarettes are these days. I...

Happy 104th Birthday to Betty White!! Welcome to my twenty-eighth blog! Today is Betty White’s 104th Birthday. Just Betty, not short for Elizabeth as most have thought. She was given the name “The First Lady of Television” after starring in many television shows. She did not have a start in television. Before the modern craze of podcasts, which is now working into streaming services, Betty led her voice to characters in radio shows. Her big television break was starring in her own show, The Betty White Show. She not only starred but also produced. She had creative control which led her to have a female director. All in the 1950s. Way ahead of the times.  Over the years she starred in many tv shows as guest stars. Including The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Who’s the Boss? She got to star in another tv show as a regular in ABC’s The Golden Girls, see all roads do lead back to Disney. Does anyone also remember her being in a Snickers ad as a football player? When she got the...

Happy 2026 Eve Everyone!! Welcome to my twenty-seventh blog! Tomorrow is 2026. 2025 year was big but 2026 is going to be huge. America will be 250. 2 and a 1/2 centuries. Wow!! A lot can happen in 250 years. History has shown us that it does repeat itself because there is no learning from the past, no adjusting in the present, and no preparing for the future. Let us all make 2026 the year we bring kind, compassion, & love to America. And show other countries we are committed to staying strong together.  The Walt Disney Company is joining in the party with “Disney Celebrates America” with a company-wide celebration. Not only will there be updates to some attractions at Disneyland & Walt Disney World. There will also be a 24-hour broadcast showcasing nationwide 250th America anniversary events ending with a fireworks show at Disneyland & Walt Disney World. This broadcast will be shown at the same time across Disney+, Hulu, ABC, ESPN, Freeform, FX, & Natio...

Happy December Eve Everyone!! Welcome to my twenty-sixth blog! Tomorrow is December. You all should know what this mean. The best time of the year in my opinion. Christmas decorations every where. Christmas Light Shows with Trans Siberian Orchestra in moonlight. Neighbors competing for the best outdoor decorating. I am definitely a little biased that my home has the best outdoor decorating. Last year I used lights, projectors, laser lights, and inflatables to make it look like a gingerbread house. This year I add a little bit more to make it more er well delicious. Speaking of delicious in the spirit of Christmas, Culver’s finally has rewards uniquely titled Delicious Rewards. Where you earn 10 points for every dollar you spend. They also have finally for a limited time Mac & Cheese. I get it as a Kid’s Meal so many times. Mac & Cheese, Fries, Soda, & Custard. Could there be anything better? What is so funny Culver’s was in the process to have rewards and Mac & Cheese...

Love You, 30 00!! Welcome to my twenty-fifth blog! This will be a jam packed edition. I started this month with finishing the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in Timeline Order. Now I am finishing the month with this blog.  I started the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) February 17th and finished it October 1st. I am now ready for the next MCU television; Wonder Man (January 27, 2026) & the next MCU movie; Spider-Man: Brand New Day (July 31, 2026). So it took 7 Months 16 Days (226 Days) to finish the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If I watched it all in one sitting it would take 3 Weeks 1hr 51min (21 Days 1hr 51min = 505.85hrs = 30,351min = 1,821,060sec). You would not think I would write a blog about the MCU without giving you the numbers, Would You? I love numbers especially Love You, 3000!! I was a beginner fan of Marvel but after I say Deadpool & Wolverine I became a super fan. Now that I finished the Marvel Cinematic Universe in timeline order. I do not have Mar...
