  Happy 96th Anniversary of Steamboat Willie!! Welcome to my fourteenth blog! Steamboat Willie is a short film which premiered on November 18, 1928. Not only did it introduce audiences to Mickey Mouse but also to his girlfriend Minnie Mouse and friend Clarabelle Cow. It did introduce Pete (as a Cat) to the Mickey Mouse universe but he became a Disney character on February 15, 1925 as a bear in Alice Solves the Puzzle (a part of the live-action animation hybrid Alice Comedies). Mickey Mouse was voiced by Walt Disney in Steamboat Willie including many other shorts. Ever since then Walt Disney stated that his company was started by a mouse. With superb popularity of Mickey Mouse, Walt Disney was able to start many of his projects he has imagined, including but not limited to feature animated films (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 1937), feature live-action films (Treasure Island 1950), and theme parks (Disneyland 1955).  In 2013, a show of shorts titled Mickey Mouse premier...

  Happy 5th Anniversary Disney+!! Welcome to my thirteenth blog! Wow, I cannot believe it has been 5 years of Disney+. I have been a subscriber since the beginning. I started out as a General D23 member in 2017 and back in Summer of 2019 they offered a 3-year subscription of Disney+ to all D23 members (General, Gold, & Charter). General membership is free with email newsletter. Gold membership is a paid membership with email newsletter, yearly gift, and a quarterly Disney Twenty-Three coffee table magazine. Charter members are Gold members since the beginning of D23 (March 10, 2009). I was a General member when they offered a 3-year subscription to Disney+ and I decided to become a Gold Member that September. I have loved every second since. A lot has changed to Disney+ since November 12, 2019. The first color of Disney+ was blue. 2020-2022 brought theatrical Disney films straight to Disney+ if not shorter theatrical runs including Pixar’s Onward, Soul, Luca & Turning...
