Happy Birthday Grandma Wilson! Welcome to my tenth blog! Today would have been my grandma’s 96th Birthday. With this blog I want to honor my grandma. I am sorry if and when this blog will bring up any tough emotions for you, my readers. She had Dementia for many years before her passing. I was 17 when she passed. I remember that day very well. I felt a sense of her being at peace up in heaven with grandpa and my little brother Dylan (See Blog #9). I want to take this time to give awareness to better research and medical care for people with Dementia and other Alzheimer’s diseases. I have made a donation in memory of my grandma to Alzheimer’s Association. They use donations to help those who live with an Alzheimer’s disease.
