Happy 1st Anniversary of Odyssey Cinemas & Social Fond du Lac 8 Grand Opening!! Welcome to my twenty-fourth blog! Today a year ago Odyssey Cinemas & Social Fond du Lac 8 had their Grand Opening after a 6-month closer. After a full year remodel the former The Fond du Lac Theatre is unrecognizable. 8 auditoriums with wall to wall screens, heated recliners, and privacy walls. A Digital Selfie Wall to take amazing photos before the next big movie. A Self-Serve Popcorn machine and a 26 (as in September 26) Tap Wall of Beer and Wine. A big lobby and stage for events including Free Music Bingo every Monday at 5:30 PM. Which I sponsor. One of the 8 auditoriums is considered Premium Format with 60 ft Curved Screen, Laser Projector, & 20 Speakers with 7.1 Surround Sound. Today a year and a month ago I started working at Odyssey as an Assistant Manager. Cleaning and finishing things up for the Grand Opening. We held an Open House with free popcorn & soda.
