 Happy 2026 Eve Everyone!!

Welcome to my twenty-seventh blog! Tomorrow is 2026. 2025 year was big but 2026 is going to be huge. America will be 250. 2 and a 1/2 centuries. Wow!! A lot can happen in 250 years. History has shown us that it does repeat itself because there is no learning from the past, no adjusting in the present, and no preparing for the future. Let us all make 2026 the year we bring kind, compassion, & love to America. And show other countries we are committed to staying strong together. 

The Walt Disney Company is joining in the party with “Disney Celebrates America” with a company-wide celebration. Not only will there be updates to some attractions at Disneyland & Walt Disney World. There will also be a 24-hour broadcast showcasing nationwide 250th America anniversary events ending with a fireworks show at Disneyland & Walt Disney World. This broadcast will be shown at the same time across Disney+, Hulu, ABC, ESPN, Freeform, FX, & National Geographic. Along with their continuation of the daily American Flag retiring ceremony at Disney parks where they give the flags to Veterans & Military members. Disney will also be donating $2.5 million to Blue Star Families, where they support the lives of military families. 

Great American Media will also be joining in the party with “America Reads the Bible”. This will be a LIVE-streamed event held April 19-25, 2026 at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. People from all 50 states will read the Bible. 

Speaking of 2026. Who is excited for the all the movies slated to release throughout the year? Some highlights are: 20th Century Studios’ Send Help (January 30th), Disney/Pixar’s Hoppers (March 6), Universal/Illumination’s The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (April 3), 20th Century Studios’ The Devil Wears Prada 2 (May 1st), Disney/Lucasfilm’s The Mandalorian and Grogu (May 22nd), Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 5 (June 19th), Warner Bros/DC’s Supergirl (June 26th), Universal/Illumination’s Minions 3 (July 1st), Disney’s Live-Action Moana (July 10th), Disney/Marvel’s Spider-Man Brand New Day (July 31st), Paramount/Nick Jr’s PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie (August 14th), Netflix’s Narnia (November 26th), Disney/Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday (December 18th).

Happy Day After Disney 2026 Shareholder Meeting Day!! Welcome to my 30th blog! Yesterday was The Walt Disney Company Annual Shareholder Meeting. They transitioned to a new CEO, Josh D’Amaro. He comes from being the head of Disney Experiences. The meeting also marked the first company wide CCO with Dana Walden.  Before the business and shareholder questionnaire portions of the meeting. It started with James Gorman, Disney Board Chairman, welcoming Josh D’Amaro & Dana Walden to the C-Suite and thanking Bob Iger for his 20+ years as CEO. They also showed a Thank You, Bob! Video which was the best Thank You video I have ever seen. On behalf of Disney Shareholders and Disney super fans everywhere, Thank You, Bob for leading the best entertainment company in the world!!   Happy Week After 1st Visit to Universal Epic Universe!! Welcome to my thirty-first blog!! And yes, I am talking about this again. I talk about Disney in all of my blogs its Universal turn. Last week I visited Universal Orlando Resort’s NEW Epic Universe Theme Park!! This was a part of the 4 day Universal FAM Trip.
