Happy Day After Disney 2026 Shareholder Meeting Day!!


Welcome to my 30th blog! Yesterday was The Walt Disney Company Annual Shareholder Meeting. They transitioned to a new CEO, Josh D’Amaro. He comes from being the head of Disney Experiences. The meeting also marked the first company wide CCO with Dana Walden. 

Before the business and shareholder questionnaire portions of the meeting. It started with James Gorman, Disney Board Chairman, welcoming Josh D’Amaro & Dana Walden to the C-Suite and thanking Bob Iger for his 20+ years as CEO. They also showed a Thank You, Bob! Video which was the best Thank You video I have ever seen. On behalf of Disney Shareholders and Disney super fans everywhere, Thank You, Bob for leading the best entertainment company in the world!! Best wishes in all of your future endeavors. After the thank you video, Bob Iger said his goodbye. After that, Josh D’Amaro started his 1st yearly Disney Update video as CEO.

In this update video, he shared stats of the many different revenue streams, (Parks, Products, etc). He showed a sneak peek to Toy Story 5, in theaters June 19, 2026. This movie is going to be so good. He also shared that they are planning all the different Disney brands, fans & IP will be interconnected seamlessly with One Disney. He also talked about the films arriving later this year, The Devil Wears Prada 2, The Mandalorian & Grogu, Live-Action Moana, & Avengers: Doomsday. He also showcased the films coming out next year: Star Wars Starfighter, The Bluey Movie, Ice Age: Boiling Point, and my favorite Disney movie continuation with Frozen 3. He also announced the dates for of 2 more: Live-Action Lilo & Stitch 2 (May 26, 2028 and Incredibles 3 (June 16, 2028). He also said they are making Disney+, the digital centerpiece of the company with connecting more fans than ever before globally. He showed his excitement for ESPN for hosting Super Bowl LXI for the very first time next year, where they will be the world of Disney to the Super Bowl. I can’t wait to see what they have planned to bring my love of Disney to sports fan everywhere. He also introduced the 9th Disney Cruise Line ship with the new Disney Believe. I am so exciting for this new chapter in The Walt Disney Company. I have very proud to be a Shareholder and Super Fan!!

  Happy Week After 1st Visit to Universal Epic Universe!! Welcome to my thirty-first blog!! And yes, I am talking about this again. I talk about Disney in all of my blogs its Universal turn.
