Blog #35 August 2026

Last Month Today with Noah Jorgensen!!

Welcome to my thirty-fifth blog!! I will share things that have happened in August. If my title of the blog sounds familiar, it is a play on words from HBO’s late night show: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Another Disney connection: He voiced Zazu in Disney’s Live-Action Lion King. I feel this worked well for my last blog and I am doing it again.

August started with D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event from August 14th to August 16th. This event happens every 2 years and this year’s event was held at the Anaheim Conference Center in California. This is where Disney celebrates their fans with a showroom floor full of booths representing movies and shows across their many studios. The first night was movies and shows announcements from Disney Entertainment. The second night was parks announcements from Disney Experiences. The third night was the Disney Legends Ceremony which honors those who have shared Disney’s Legacy. Those honored this year was: Chris Berman (ESPN); Jerry Bruckheimer (Producer); Susan Egan (Broadway); Eric Goldberg (Animator); Anne Hathaway (Actress); Bob Iger (Former CEO); Kim Irvine (Imagineer); Dwayne Johnson (Actor); Jonas Brothers (Singers); Lin-Manuel Miranda (Songwriter); and Alan Tudyk (Voice Actor). See my past posts on Facebook to see all the amazing happenings from D23. You can follow at facebook.com/noahlotservices & instagram.com/noahlotservices

Us at Odyssey Cinemas & Social Fond du Lac 8 has put on pre-sale for Avengers Endgame Encore (Starting September 24) being re-released with added scenes to get ready for Avengers Doomsday (Starting December 17) also on pre-sale. Both Avengers’ films are also being released in Premium Format which was certified by Disney with their new Infinity Vision label. We are 1 of 1000 theaters picked from Disney. Maybe this will put Fond du Lac on the map of popularity. Which is pretty awesome and can be added to the wonder of Fond du Lac being considered to be Wisconsin’s Capital before going to Madison. Fond du Lac is more central, just saying.

On August 24, Disney announced the rest of the 32 NFL teams being connected a different Disney character on Champion clothing line. A few of them are: Miami Dolphins (King Triton), Baltimore Ravens (Diaval & Maleficent), Cincinnati Bengals (Shere Khan), Cleveland Browns (Pluto), Chicago Bears (Baloo), & Green Bay Packers (Chewbacca).

It was so fun writing about all things that happened in August. I can’t wait for the next blog. Until next time, keep your days open for more knowledge. Thank you to everyone who reads this blog.
