 Last Day of Christmas in July!!

Welcome to my twenty-second blog! Today is the last day of Christmas in July. If you are a long time reader of my blogs then you know my favorite holiday is Christmas and I love it that society celebrates twice in a year. 

Christmas in July started so that countries (Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, and others) in the Southern Hemisphere can celebrate Christmas in colder weather (Winter happens June through August). Santa in the outback.

Symbolic Christmas in July gifts this year are announcements of new Christmas Movies from Great American Media for Great American Family and Great American Pure Flix which collectively will celebrate the 5th Anniversary of Great American Christmas later this year. Also they announced they will Live-Stream "America Reads the Bible” at Museum of the Bible April 18-25, 2026. It will have 50 people (1 from each state) read the Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelations in honor of the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America (July 4, 2026). Yet another Christmas in July gift is Apple releasing the Public Beta of Update 26 for all of their products. This year is extra special because each of their product lines (iPhones, iPads, iMacs, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro and more) will have the same uniformed update number. I was hoping for this for a long time and it is finally here. Also with this update, Apple went to glass makers to see how glass forms, how it looks when it moves, and more. They used what they learned to add Liquid Glass throughout the update (notifications will be write text on a clear glass background, app icons will have a new colored glass finish or you can make app icons clear glass, and the movements of the screen will be similar to flowing of melted glass). This and many more new features are now live for those who want to be a part of the Update 26 Public Beta testing. It’s free and everyone is able to leave feedback about the new update. Check out beta.apple.com to see if your Apple Device is compatible, to learn more, and steps to become a part of the Update 26 Public Beta testing. 

As you know I have my bedroom decorated in Christmas all year round. It is really great to work (Financial Coach, Travel Agent, and more on the way) and be surrounded by the great feeling of Christmas.

Happy Day After Disney 2026 Shareholder Meeting Day!! Welcome to my 30th blog! Yesterday was The Walt Disney Company Annual Shareholder Meeting. They transitioned to a new CEO, Josh D’Amaro. He comes from being the head of Disney Experiences. The meeting also marked the first company wide CCO with Dana Walden.  Before the business and shareholder questionnaire portions of the meeting. It started with James Gorman, Disney Board Chairman, welcoming Josh D’Amaro & Dana Walden to the C-Suite and thanking Bob Iger for his 20+ years as CEO. They also showed a Thank You, Bob! Video which was the best Thank You video I have ever seen. On behalf of Disney Shareholders and Disney super fans everywhere, Thank You, Bob for leading the best entertainment company in the world!!   Happy Week After 1st Visit to Universal Epic Universe!! Welcome to my thirty-first blog!! And yes, I am talking about this again. I talk about Disney in all of my blogs its Universal turn.
