 Merry Christmas Eve Eve!!

Welcome to my fifteenth blog! Christmas is here. Over the past few years December 23rd has been considered Christmas Eve Eve. From someone who celebrates the meaning of Christmas everyday, it makes sense to celebrate Christmas time early and for 3 days (Dec 23rd, 24th, 25th). Not to mention the 12 Days of Christmas. 23 is my favorite number so it is a great day already. I even have my bedroom decorated in Christmas year-round. 

On December 1, ABC showed the Christmas special: The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular. They air this special (with different variants) every year to help kickoff the holiday season. They filmed at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa this year while different performers & artists sing & dance to Christmas songs. This year is hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro & Julianne Hough (same hosts as Dancing with the Stars). Includes fireworks, light productions, image projections and so much more. Watch the special now on Disney+. Also every year ABC airs the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade. This year it will also be hosted by Alfonso & Julianne. I will be watching at 9am on ABC and at 10am on Disney+. Something new this year ESPN will be airing Dunk the Halls, a live-animated alternative broadcast of the NBA Christmas Day Game with San Antonio Spurs & New York Knicks on Disney+ at 11am. On another note, Netflix will also air for the first-time two Christmas Day NFL games with Kansas City Chiefs vs Pittsburgh Steelers & Baltimore Ravens vs Houston Texans. 

In the spirit of Christmas, Odyssey Cinemas & Social was able to have Red One, a Christmas Adventure movie from Amazon MGM Studios (Amazon purchased MGM Studios back on March 17, 2022 which I am hoping will help MGM to become as big of a studio like it used to be when it was founded on April 17, 1924) & The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, a religious Christmas movie from Lionsgate Studios (a small studio that has been growing into one of the big movie studios in the past few years was founded on July 10, 1997 which is one of the reasons it was spun off from Starz Entertainment back on May 14, 2024 to become its own entity). Today at 5:30pm-8:30pm, Odyssey will be having a Free Christmas Bingo Night. Cannot wait for all of the Christmas songs while playing Music Bingo.

Happy Day After Disney 2026 Shareholder Meeting Day!! Welcome to my 30th blog! Yesterday was The Walt Disney Company Annual Shareholder Meeting. They transitioned to a new CEO, Josh D’Amaro. He comes from being the head of Disney Experiences. The meeting also marked the first company wide CCO with Dana Walden.  Before the business and shareholder questionnaire portions of the meeting. It started with James Gorman, Disney Board Chairman, welcoming Josh D’Amaro & Dana Walden to the C-Suite and thanking Bob Iger for his 20+ years as CEO. They also showed a Thank You, Bob! Video which was the best Thank You video I have ever seen. On behalf of Disney Shareholders and Disney super fans everywhere, Thank You, Bob for leading the best entertainment company in the world!! Best wishes in all of your future endeavors. After the thank you video, Bob Iger said his goodbye. After that, Josh D’Amaro started his 1st yearly Disney Update video as CEO.   Happy Week After 1st Visit to Universal Epic Universe!! Welcome to my thirty-first blog!! And yes, I am talking about this again. I talk about Disney in all of my blogs its Universal turn.
