 Happy 12th Blog!!

Welcome to my twelfth blog! Which means I have been writing this blog for 12 months. Next month will be the 1 year anniversary of my first blog. My first blog was about The Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary and the D23: The Disney Fan Club special event at The Walt Disney Studios Lot in Burbank, California (See Blog #1 for more fun information). Thank you to all my readers who have read, loved, and shared my blogs in the past year. This blog is dedicated to you. 

In the past month, I became an Assistant Manager at Odyssey Cinemas & Social (my local cinema, which opened after a 6-month closer for an extreme cinema makeover). Extreme Makeover: Cinema Edition sounds like a good name for a show to complement ABC’s upcoming revival of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. I will share a little history of the cinema. Fond du Lac Theatre opened in 1998 and was sold in 2019 to Minneapolis-based Odyssey Entertainment Inc. They announced a complete renovation would start in 2019 but the pandemic put other plans on it. Odyssey Cinemas & Social had a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house this past week. We had thousands of attendees from Fond du Lac and surrounding areas. They were given free popcorn and soda while seeing all the new stuff the cinema has to offer. Including a live-stage; tables and chairs in the lobby for board games, Bingo, and socializing; self-serve popcorn and soda machines; heated recliners in stadium seating; new screens including the Odyssey Premium Format auditorium which offers a 60-foot wall-to-wall curved screen with 20 speakers of 7.1 surround sound. If you have an idea of how exciting the Odyssey Premium Format will be, experiencing it will probably be even better. As an Assistant Manager, I will help moviegoers experience the best in entertainment.

I am a huge movie buff. I am a huge Disney fan as well. This is the best way to experience both by being an Assistant Manager. I love movies across multiple studios, including but not limited to; Walt Disney Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, 20th Century Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Lucasfilm, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, and Warner Bros. Pictures. My favorite film of all time is Frozen and I cannot wait for 3 & 4.

It was amazing to celebrate 12 months of the Noah Lot Blog and to showcase my new position at Odyssey Cinemas & Social. I cannot wait for the next blog. Until next time, keep your days open for more knowledge. Thank you to everyone who reads this blog.

Happy Day After Disney 2026 Shareholder Meeting Day!! Welcome to my 30th blog! Yesterday was The Walt Disney Company Annual Shareholder Meeting. They transitioned to a new CEO, Josh D’Amaro. He comes from being the head of Disney Experiences. The meeting also marked the first company wide CCO with Dana Walden.  Before the business and shareholder questionnaire portions of the meeting. It started with James Gorman, Disney Board Chairman, welcoming Josh D’Amaro & Dana Walden to the C-Suite and thanking Bob Iger for his 20+ years as CEO. They also showed a Thank You, Bob! Video which was the best Thank You video I have ever seen. On behalf of Disney Shareholders and Disney super fans everywhere, Thank You, Bob for leading the best entertainment company in the world!!   Happy Week After 1st Visit to Universal Epic Universe!! Welcome to my thirty-first blog!! And yes, I am talking about this again. I talk about Disney in all of my blogs its Universal turn.
