Blog #6 March 2024

 Happy Easter!

Welcome to my sixth blog! Spring is in the air. Well it should be but lately it has been cold like winter and there is a term; Sprinter, for being Spring but still Winter weather. No need to put your trust in a groundhog because in Wisconsin, weather is up in the air both literally and figuratively. For Easter it can be for many things. For me it is going to church with my family and praising Jesus, who has risen from the dead after three days.

March is also Women’s History Month. I am a supporter of inclusion, diversity, and equal rights for everyone Period! My Aunt and I went to Disney Princess: The Concert at Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. It was amazing, magical, comedic, and so much more. I loved it when they put multiple Disney songs into a single medley. It seemed they knew I was watching because the Grand Finale song was my favorite song, Let It Go from my favorite Disney movie, Frozen. (Which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. See my Blog #2).

My mom and my sister also went to Florida for Spring Break. We did get to Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney after a 3-year expansion), a shopping, dining, and entertainment complex. It was surreal to see what they did to honor Women’s History month with showcasing women-owned businesses and women artists. I originally thought we were go to beaches to relax in the sun. It was a fun detour in the middle of our 10 day trip. We also went to Sea World. (Yes I know my first non-Disney theme park in Orlando) It was fun to see animals in a new way other than in a zoo or aquarium.

Back in the World of Disney, on Wednesday March 27, after a beta version, Hulu is now integrated into Disney+. For Disney Bundle subscribers (Disney+Hulu or Disney+ESPN+Hulu or Disney+ESPN+Hulu+Live TV), they will have access to Hulu’s library both on Hulu and Disney+. You can guess the Disney Bundle tier I have. With this new launch Disney+ debuted a new color for their logo background, a blue-green color. For the symbolization of each service's original colors, blue (Disney+) and green (Hulu), combining together. In connection to FRIENDS (my mom’s and my favorite show we watch every night), Disney+ can now be shown as being Blue or Green like the Blue-Green LaSabre the character Ross talks about in Season 8 Episode 2.

It was so fun writing about all things that happened in March, my birth month. I cannot wait for the next blog. Until next time, keep your days open for more knowledge. Thank you to everyone who reads this blog.
