 Merry Christmas To All and To All a Good Read!

Welcome to my third blog! Ah, Christmas. My favorite time of year. I love Christmas in July as well. The true meaning of Christmas can be told many different ways. To me the true meaning of Christmas is celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. In honor of his birth, giving to those less fortunate is the best way to celebrate the time of year. I take this true meaning of Christmas with me everyday. I donate as much as I can throughout the year. 

I decorate at my family’s house throughout the year but decorating for Christmas is my favorite. I love to go all out for Christmas. Every room in the house and outside has Christmas decorations. Last year for an early Christmas gift I got my family a Disney Christmas Tree topper. This year I got a Disney Christmas Tree skirt, snow globe, and a Disney 100 ornament. These add to a small amount of Disney Christmas themed decorations. (Note to self; buy more Disney Christmas decorations.) I did decide to theme our Christmas tree this year to Disney 100. I gathered all of the Disney themed ornaments and placed them on the tree with strings of iridescent beads.

More about Disney Christmas. Every year I watch The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration in November to kick-off the Christmas season. This is a ABC special of musical and artistic guests performing holiday songs. Today and every year I watch the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade on ABC. This year is even more magical because it is the 40th Anniversary special. (If you excuse me, I will be watching ABC for the next hour or so.)

This next week I have the amazing opportunity to lead a Disney Christmas themed day at my work. I have amazing ideas planned with Disney Christmas decorations, Disney Christmas activities, music, Disney+ galore, and many more. I had a dream to work at Disney someday but getting this job back in 2021 my new dream is to never leave. With having this opportunity I am able to merge two of my amazing passions. I just cannot wait to see what happens. It will be like a Christmas party with Disney magic everywhere. I hope everyone likes it as much as I hope they like it. 

Back in December 2012, my family took a Christmas Disney vacation to Walt Disney World. So this year it will be like I will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary one year later. For 4-H, I made a scrapbook of my trip.

It was so fun writing about what Christmas means to me and ways I celebrate. I cannot wait for the next blog. Until next time, keep your days open for more knowledge. Thank you to everyone who reads this blog.

Happy Day After Disney 2026 Shareholder Meeting Day!! Welcome to my 30th blog! Yesterday was The Walt Disney Company Annual Shareholder Meeting. They transitioned to a new CEO, Josh D’Amaro. He comes from being the head of Disney Experiences. The meeting also marked the first company wide CCO with Dana Walden.  Before the business and shareholder questionnaire portions of the meeting. It started with James Gorman, Disney Board Chairman, welcoming Josh D’Amaro & Dana Walden to the C-Suite and thanking Bob Iger for his 20+ years as CEO. They also showed a Thank You, Bob! Video which was the best Thank You video I have ever seen. On behalf of Disney Shareholders and Disney super fans everywhere, Thank You, Bob for leading the best entertainment company in the world!!   Happy Week After 1st Visit to Universal Epic Universe!! Welcome to my thirty-first blog!! And yes, I am talking about this again. I talk about Disney in all of my blogs its Universal turn.
